Bordermarch

Order of Precedence / Order of March / Kingdom or Local

The Populace might be interested to know of a source that is very informative about awards and the dates those awards were given at the pleasure of the Court, found at our Kingdom's website.

Click on "Order of Precedence."  Follow the "College of Heralds" page down to the HTML yellow box;  alphabetical order will appear.  For example, click on "A" to find Armand or "C" to find Caitrin; the list shows awards/dates and personal precedence number for an order of march.  Such as theirs:     8,0000,00,04
8(order of march for barony in fief), 0000(year received highest rank), 00, 04.

Every award recipient in the history of Ansteorra should be named at that source.  Also, awards which for some reason were omitted from this data can be verified by appropriate scroll signatures or other historical records being sent to the College of Heralds; then heralds there can update the online Order of Precedence.  Contact the local Herald officer about these communications.

Or, for finding only the Bordermarch OP, skip past the HTML yellow box and scroll down to the "Branch OP" yellow box.  Click on that one to find "Bordermarch" exclusive.  The Ansteorran web site has an automatic way to keep the on-line data updated after official event court reports are completed.

Any person in the history of Bordermarch who has received an award "should" be listed there with the award date.  Even names of participants of ages past, moved, inactive, or deceased, are shown.  If someone's data is missing (a few are), they could contact the local Herald office about that official event report and go up the ladder of communications from there.

Because of numerous membership and a vast map, opinions and consultations from the Populace are appreciated by Royalty or Nobility who determine if/when a person is elevated by an award.  To make recommendations for awards, anyone at any time may recommend to the Baron/ess or King/Queen for any individual to be considered by the Crown for recognition for x-y-z skills, teaching, service, or other accomplishments.  Note: A letter of rec does not automatically mean such an award will “be” presented, since the Kingdom awards rest within the wisdom and within gift of the Crown.
